ANN BRODY

Dr. Ann Brody is an interdisciplinary researcher with a PhD in Communication Studies and a background in Anthropology. She is among the earliest social science scholars to produce empirical research on the Ethereum ecosystem. Using ethnographic methods, her work examines the cultural and sociotechnical dynamics of public goods DAOs and nonprofit coordination in blockchain environments. Alongside her academic research, she is a digital rights advocate and founder of Women in Web3 Privacy and the educational initiative zkMonk. She combines rigorous scholarship with applied project leadership, working across academic, technical, and policy domains.
